BODAL CHEMICALS was established in 1989 with an objective to serve the basic raw materials for Dyestuff industry all over the globe. Company commenced its operations by setting up a small Vinyl Sulphone Plant at Vatva - Ahmedabad (Gujarat) with capacity of 200 T.P.A. which has now expanded to more than 16000 T.P.A.

Bodal started its operations initially with one product i.e. Vinyl Sulphone Ester (Acetanilide Base); with gradual advancement in production capacities now BODAL is producing more than 25 variants of Dye Intermediates with VINYL SUPHONE (Acetanilide Base) as the core product. Combined production capacity is around 30,000 TPA.

Dye Intermediates R&D at Bodal, in these two decades, has successfully launched several products for various Industries such as textile, Leather, Paper etc.

Bodal has made significant strides in the field of Dye Intermediates and other related products since it's inception. True, we started in a small way. But then it has never stopped us from thinking big. Nearly 70% of our production is being exported worldwide to various clients including several multinationals.

Our team of expert chemists and highly-efficient workman has resorted to innovations, keeping in view the constant up gradations of quality and customer's demand, thus ensuring the product for optimal applications for a vast sphere of fields. Constant co-ordination with our customers has earned us the reputation of customer-friendly company.

Apart from being leader in indigenous market, our products are being exported to China, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and European belt. Today Bodal is one of the largest manufacturer & exporter of Intermediates in India.

Strong foot on Vinyl Sulphone Ester had given us the strength and depth of going for forward integration and that gave the birth to DYES SECTION. In order to be more self reliant and competitive, BODAL decided to go for backward integration and thus saw the inception of BASIC CHEMICALS and SULPHUR CHEMICALS DIVISION.
